Bounce Houses Are Good Workouts for Kids

Kids today are more at risk for obesity, diabetes and other weight-related health issues because they are less active than previous generations of children.
The Center for Disease Control recommends that children and adolescents get a minimum of one hour of physical activity each day. But given all the sedentary temptations kids have today -- including video games, YouTube, streaming video, and many others -- most parents are lucky if their children get a fraction of that.
Bounce House as Exercise
Renting a bounce house for your next birthday party, church carnival, street party or other special event is a great way to get kids to exercise while having fun at the same time.
Kids burn off energy jumping around in a bounce house and they don't even realize they are getting a high-quality cardio workout while they are doing it. There also are other inflatables you can rent -- such as a rock wall, an inflatable maze, inflatable slides, and inflatable discovery castles -- that also combine fun and physical activity.

Well-Rounded Conditioning
Just like adults, children need a combination of aerobic activity and muscle strengthening just to stay healthy. But unlike grownups, kids' bones are still developing.
So making sure they are getting plenty of bone-strengthening activity -- such as jumping in a bounce castle, climbing inflatable walls, and running around inside an inflatable maze -- can help develop strong bones that will support them for the rest of their lives.
Kids don't benefit from such activities as lifting weights. Younger children can strengthen their muscles simply through the type of vigorous physical activity they will get in a bounce castle or other special inflatable.
So if you want your kids to grow up healthy, slim and muscular, get them out of your house and into a bounce for safe, healthy fun!
