Some children can become very attached to their toys. Dolls, stuffed animals, and other favorites can become their constant companion, serving as almost like security blanket they constantly want with them -- especially very young children.
So when it comes time to play in the bounce house rental during a birthday party or other special event, naturally they want to bring their favorite toys with into the bounce house with them.
Usually, this isn't a good idea.
Safety Concerns
For one thing, toys in the bounce house can create a safety issue -- both for your child and for other kids. Kids naturally get excited when playing in a bounce house, so they aren't always watching where they ar jumping.
A toy left on the floor of the bounce house can easily cause a twisted ankle, cause a child to trip, or even cut or injure a child. That's not something anybody wants to happen.
Broken Toys
If your child's favorite toy gets stepped on or jumped on in the bounce house, it may break, become torn, or otherwise be damaged. This can be devastating to a young child, especially if they have developed a strong attachment to the toy.
Preventing your child from bringing their favorite toy into the bounce house while they play with other children will protect the toy as well as the kids.
Bounce House Damage
Another concern is damage to the bounce house itself. If a toy is made of hard plastic, has metal parts, or creates sharp edges when it breaks after being stepped on, it can puncture or damage the bounce house.
When all the air comes streaming out of the bounce house, the fun time is over. All of the kids will need to be evacuated and the bounce house sent back to the repair shop.
Your child may not like it, but their favorite toy will have to sit outside and wait for them while they play in the bounce house rental.
